I'm John, a highly experienced and awardwinning freelance web developer based in sunny Brighton, UK.

I am an enthusiastic web development specialist and tech lead backed by over twentytwo years of handson experience.

I deliver bespoke websites and considered user experiences working with modern JavaScript (or TypeScript), React, HTML and CSS.

My portfolio is diverse; I work with global clients, solving real-world problems, including:

  • engaging businesses, politicians, academics, and world leaders to shape global agendas;
  • leading the modernisation of the online portfolio of one of Britain's largest airlines;
  • leading a team of developers for the world's local bank, rebuilding their commercial banking platform;
  • ... and revamping the online presence of a local food truck so that their customers knew where to find them.
